What time usually male kids start feeling themselves sexually?

My son is 6 years now, sometimes while he is watching TV I have noticed him putting his hand inside his pants and sometimes he was quite erect while i was helping him changing clothes.

they start as soon as they can. He doesnt know what he is doing and it is all by accident stilll. He won't have any expereinces until he is in his teens
