My nine year old daughter birthday party should be?
Answer:
no offense but you can have a big and fun party without having to break the bank on it. How are you going to keep meeting her increasingly bigger expectations year after year. By time you get to her wedding you'll be up to 100,000. Plus what are you teaching her in the long run?
I think the pool is a great idea, since her dad already has one. I would have a whole Hawaiian luau theme, with leis, skirts, fun drinks with umbrellas and music. Get a whole bunch of rafts and beach balls for decorations and party fun!
p.s. do you really have a child thats 10, that would make you ummmmmmmmmmmmmm 13 when you had her? (according to your profile)
ohh and i would stop watching "my sweet 16" shows ..you'll never be able to live up to that..so why break yourself trying!
wow- what's this girl going to get to have for her 16th b-day party- since she's going to already get a limo and huge pool party? She should feel lucky and enjoy that- yes.
a pool party sounds good. have her invite all her friends...Then tellher to select a few, and have a sleepover! Watch movies eat her fave foods, play outside, etc.
That is an awesome idea, a limo and a pool party. If you can afford it then why not.
She will be the coolest kid in her class and tat rocks!!
I love the idea, do both!
OMG..please....10 is too young to be starting that. You will have REAL trouble by the time she is 18. So...save the limo for her 16th or 18th party. She doesn't have to be the kid on the block with the best parties. I say, save some of that $700 for her BIG party at 16. Ask your daughter what she wants. You may be surprised! My daughter surprised me one year and told me she just wanted a few friends to go to a movie and then out to dinner. That sure didn't cost $700!!
I did a luau themed pool party for my daughter last year, and it was a blast! We gave lei's to everyone and instead of goodie bags i gave mini pinatas with candy. I put LOTS of balloons everywhere(cheap & make impact).
