Hold child at your shoulder or chest level and "zoom" around the house making plane noises. Wait until child is at least a year old tho', or better yet until the child knows what a plane is.

When my daughter was an infant, she was colicky and the only way to calm her down was to fly her around the room. Of course, this was done when she was still in her carrier. When she got older, I would put my arm between her legs and place my hand on her chest and fly her around that way.
omg...just play with your kid there aint any step by step rules on how to play with your kids..just pick him up and swing him around like an airplane or superman.now how hard was that.
I use to play it with my kids, and what I would do is lay on my back on the floor and put my childs belly on my feet, and hold there arms and raise my legs up so they have to put there legs into the air, it was great exercise for me, and kids loved it.
If you dont know how to play games with your kid like airplane and superman, i dont think you shouldn't even had kids.
