***Caring for Your Baby and Young Child

best book - the unwriten one in your head!

trust me - ive had 4 boys, and i gave up looking at the books, because they all tell diffrent things.

their is no "normal" level of child development or "normal" child behavour, all kids develop and behave diffrently, never are two the same, some takes years to learn or master something others take only a few weeks, i find these books tend to set exspectations like "your child should be doing this by this age, if not theirs something wrong with them" and thats horrible wrong and all it does is make parents worry
What to expect the first year and What to expect the toddler years are good books
RAISING BOYS by Steve Biddulph
My absolute favorite book on parenting is this one:

It will provide you simple and effective ways to maintain good communication with your child while building a strong self esteem. Best of all this book is so practical! Not pie in the sky theory, just real answers that work!

Parenting can be both extremely rewarding as well as challenging. A good book like this can make all the difference in the world.

Best of luck to you with your son. :-)
I love these books:

1. "Bringing Up Boys: Practical Advice and Encouragement for Those Shaping the Next Generation of Men" by James C. Dobson

2. "The Discipline Book: How to Have a Better-Behaved Child From Birth to Age Ten" by Martha Sears and William Sears
