I know this guy that leaves his kids alone almost everyday lacking money,food,or anything.. is this illigal?

That's a tricky one, because within may be more to the situation than you're seeing, and you risk a lot by getting involved within other people's business like that.
I'd hold an eye on the teens, let them know that if there's anything they call for to ask you, but beyond that, I wouldn't get involved. You never know what mode of people are out here and what helpful of crazy things they'll do.
if the kids are insanely like skinny and adjectives, then YES report him to the cops. this guy is a big ***. he deserves to be surrounded by jail.

Another suggestion, thieve some food over to the kids if you can. Even if it's boxed mac and cheese and a pack of hotdogs. That way it cant be said you are trying to spoil his kids.

YEAH this is wrong... since you know what is going on its up to you to help out these kids. You could phone up social services and stay anomynous... come on its illegal surrounded by some states to have your dog leashed up for more that 2 hrs.... and what that guy is doing is worse! dont stay out of it... to be exact how kids start to steal, join gang, get pregnant, do drugs ect.......

you can call child protective services annonymously and hold them check on the kids. It is not illegal for a 13 and 14 year prehistoric to stay home alone, although it is illegal for them to live alone so as long as the father comes homes and provides the officially recognized necessities (food, shelter, heat, river, etc.) there is really nil you can do. Personally I would call CPS only to have them check contained by, it doesnt hurt anything if your wrong.

At 13 and 14 they are old ample to be alone. How do you know for sure they have no food? My kids would speak there be no food if they were out of chips and soda. As for not giving them money- I didn't mitt out money to my kids.

You should definatly call child services. Only if your sure that the kids arnt individual taken care of properly. That age is prehistoric enough to stay home alone ( Probably not for that long though) but if they dont hold any food then it is forgetfulness.
