What activities are your toddlers in?
Answer:
play groups - karate - taekwondo
my 3 yr old is just playing with barbies and dolls why dont you try basketball or golf? (mini)
learn to swim at a heated pool is good.
Most boys I know that age are in kickboxing, karate, soccer, etc. I have even seen boys at my daughter's gymnastics class.
take him to playgrounds and get him to interact with other kids, and maybe have like playdates or smthg like that, get him talking and active
i have a two year old and a seven year old.
with both my boys i have signed them up for soccer. my seven year old has continued on plauying.
as for my 2yr old he wants to try different stuff, so i am looking around at different play groups and some people have told me to put him in karate, taekwondo, swimming, cricket, arts and craft etc.
try one of these or seek help from your mothers group or local baby centre.
I don't believe in too much scheduling for little ones. We just stay home and play with siblings a lot. My almost-3-year-old does go to a free-play type gymnastics once a week. You might try something like that.
My daughter and I go to a mommy and me class through the parks and recreation dept. through our city. They have many classes open to toddlers including tumbling. She is also in ballet. Even getting involved in a play group is great for toddlers to learn social skills and good for you too! Try meetup.com for groups in your area.
I just signed my 2 year old (he'll be 3 next month) up for toddler & mommy gymnastics. We start on Thursday afternoon
