you can tell if they need to go or not because you probably know about when they went last and how much they've had to drink. The only time it really irritates me or makes me nuts is in church. Go before church because you will NOT be getting up to go to the bathroom during church. That bugs the hound out of me. Some parents allow their kids to get up and down, up and down, during church. Makes me crazy. Otherwise, take 'm when they gotta go.
You mean like during car trips? Whenever they need to. I don't want them peeing in my seats :-)
if they have to go, then they have to go. there's nothing you can do about it. better for them to go when they have to then to try and make them hold it and end up having an accident. especially if they're just potty trained.
Yes, if you don't can lead to problems with there kidneys and embarrasment if they can't hold it.

Well, their little bladders aren't fully formed yet, and so, you really need to plan that into your travel time. Otherwise, you can pretty much bet you'll be late, everywhere you take them.
I will stop if they need to go. Holding it can cause bladder infections and I sure don't want to feel like a bad mom for causing one of them.
car trips well when they need to in a 2 hour drive maybe 3 or 2 times it varies
