Am I ready to be a mom?

I'm 23 and married, my husband is 32 and we're planning to get pregnant next year (2007) and i'm REALLY looking foward to it!!! but wondering if at my age I could be ready or not...

Answer:
23 is not young where you are not yet mentally adjusted. I am 25 and had a child when I was 23. I love it. The only downside is not partying like all my other friends. Doctors actually told me that 23 was a great age because we have more energy and also our age can affect the outcome of easier pregnancies.
I agree w/ the above answer. 23 is a good age. But the reality is, you cannot go around asking other people if you should be a mom. You need to sit down w/ your husband and ask yourselves if you are both ready to be parents. Talk about it some more. It will be for the best in the long run.
