Do you think 900 pounds is alot to spend on 2 kids at christmas?

each kid having 450 spent on them

Answer:
That's just crazy! You'd be much better spending that money on things for the kids through the year - like music lessons or sports lessons or something.

Or, if you've got that kind of money to spend on them on top of other things during the year, make part of their present a charity gift, where you can buy a cow or a goat for a poor family in the developing world. That shows children that there are people much worse off than them, and gives then a sense of responsibility for the world.
Yes
if you can afford it why not.just dont go into debt for it
yes, its LOADS!
Yes its too much. 20 is enough.
i had about that spent on me growing up.
No, if you can afford it fair play to you.
If you can afford it and they're worth it then why not?

If you can't and they're a pair of ungrateful gets then 90p is too much
yes . how are they ever going to learn the value of money .
If they get everything they want why should they think about earning for themselves doing chores and helping others !!
yes. That's a ridiculous amount to spend.
way too much.
if you do it this year you will be expected to do it next year and each year after that.
you don't have to spend that much on anyone for them to like their present and enjoy christmas.
you need to tell your husband that you can't buy your kids love with presents, just be their dad and they will love him no matter what.
Sounds like a lot of weight.ba-da-bing! Yes, that's too much money! Put some in a savings account for them.
If you've got it, spend it! That's my motto. Just don't go into debt buying Christmas gifts!
not really as you don`t get much for your money these days
way, way too much.
Yes, it's far too much. The true meaning of Christmas seems to have gone forever. My 3 year old got 3 presents from us (totalling £100), she gets presents from all our family too so she's not badly off and is happy and plays with what she gets.

How can they possibly keep track of what they get, most of it will be lost or forgotten within a week, they'll not treasure it and will break it as it means nothing to them.
Thats ridiculous , far to much
Depends what it is.if it's 450 in a high interest bank account than its not to much. If it's some crappy toy that they'll get bored with by Boxing day then Yes.
No, that is fair, we spent 2 grand
£200 would have been more appropriate. £900 would have seen a whole family in Africa live like kings, get their children educated, buy new Farming implements and have a well dug! You work it out!
Depends on how old the kids are & MOST IMPRTANTLY - Can you afford to? If the kids are little & Christmas is a special thing for them AND you have the cash WITHOUT goin into the red, then WHY NOT?
If you can afford it why not!!
Yes, I don`t spend more than £100-£125 each. I spent £50 on my grandaughter this year, she`s 3.
By todays standards its not a lot, provided that you buy something that is not here today, broken tomorrow. Merry Xmas.
I think you are having a laugh!
not these days no, thats about what i have spent on my two girls, things just arent cheap anymore
thats way to much but if you can afford it lucky kids
depends on what ages they are, and what it is your buying! if theres going to be tons and tons of presents is there really any need for it? 360 and psp cost a lot, but there big presents.
Absolutely. All kids want something nice but why spend that much? It's ONE DAY!
It sounds a lot but i guess if we added all ours up it would be something of that order. Obscene isn't it! I don't stick to it, but I'll always remember the woman in the bed next to mine when I was having my son. She was having her sixth child and she said to me that they never remember what you bought them, but they always remember the time you spent with them walking, talking, camping, outings etc etc. Just pile on the guilt why don't you!!
hi one word starts with y and ends in s
