Does anyone out there add water(1/2) to soymilk to cut out sugar in soymilk? whole milk makes her sick.?
Answer:
silk brand makes an unsweetened soymilk. that may be a better alternative.
Have you tried goat's milk? You can buy fortified powdered goat's milk online:

At least it doesn't have added sugar.
You might as well be giving her water. If whole makes her sick then try 2%. If that does then do soy but don't water it down. She will not get fat from full fat milk. It is a very necessary nutrient in her growth and watering down soy will make her fall into the underweight, maybe even malnourished category. You should give her whatever you eat and drink (except soda and coffee obviously) Give her the milk, unsweetened tea, and read the labels if you're giving her juices that say less sugar because they may still add corn syrup to them. 100% juices are great choices and have natural sugars in them. Just don't forget that fat and sugar are still very important to her health right now.
Maybe you should try lactaid it lacks the milk fat which some ppl can not digest. My daughter drinks lactaid or takes the pills if she wants to consume icecream or cheese
