) A mother has 6 children and 5 potatoes. How can she feed each child an equal amount of potatoes? (Do not use

Answer:
Go next door and see if they have one more potato she can use.
Mash them.
What are you trying to ask?
make chips
Cut each potato into 6 pieces and give 5 pieces to each kid.
Mash em!
Mash em, then spoon out an equal portion of Mashed Potatoes to each child.
Potato Soup
She can not give any kid any of the potatoes.

I do believe this should be in homework help and not parenting.
Hmn. Math question or practical question b/c you don't feel like goin' to the store?! :-)

1 - Mash them.
2 - Make au gratin or "scalloped" potatoes.
3 - Make "oven fries" (slice them up into wedges, coat with olive oil and some seasonings, bake at 400-degrees F until crisp outside/tender inside).
4 - Make potato soup.
5 - Dice potatoes into 1/2 inch squares. Dice left-over meat into 1/2 inch squares. Saute potatoes in oil with diced onion until browned and tender. Add meat to heat. Salt. Pepper. Hash!

Good luck. Now I'm hungry. :-)
cut all the potatoes in equal pieces
then share them
and watever is left is wat the mom gets
Do not use what?
well my answer would be to cut each potatoe in six equal pieces and give each child 35 pieces. That would be an equal amount.
Or you could weigh each potato.
Or you could just eat the potatoes and make them go to bed hungry.
Make something else out of them so you can dispense them evenly!
combine the five potatoes
and then serve six equal servings
