BabySitting Rates? Who much should I chared per child?

I have a moment ago started Baby Sitting but I am 17 years old. I don't know where on earth to start at cost? What do you think would be a accurate price to start at?

Answers:    Most of the time people own a set rate they're willing to donate, one that they pay adjectives of their sitters.

So first see what they offer, it may be "8 dollars an hour ok?" or "30 for the night".

Having set rates can be doomed to failure because difficulty can vary beside age, gender, child's self. For example I babysit for a lady who's sons are complete dolls they're no crack, go to bed hwen told etc so I don't expect as much from her. As from her friend who's sons are terror. Most parents know their kids, the lady beside the terror boys pays alot more, extra, to keep hold of a sitter, especially one who can handle her kids. But if your watching multiple kids do charge more than you would for one kid, and don't sit more than 4 kids at a time short another sitter.

If you want to know a going rate for your area ask a friend who babysits, or ask around, ask a neighboor who have kids how much they usually pay. Be polite and mention that your starting out.

Plus when your starting out its apt to charge a bit less bcause you don't hold the experience yet, but those first clients can become prized references subsequent on with referral benefits.
2 dollars per child per hour
Depending on where on earth you live...it varies. Where I am I hold heard of 8 to 10 dollars an hour.
plz dont chare the kid!
I would start anywhere between 5-10$ per hour, or proposal a base price for a dark (say $45.00 for a 5 hour sitting).

It really varies next to the area you live surrounded by as well. If you live within a larger city you may want to charge more, but if this is a small and local town you'll want to offer smaller quantity.

Start with your local neighbors/friends and ask them as okay what they would pay you surrounded by order to babysit their children. You may win a good price. :)
It only depends on a few things. First on the age, like a babe you would charge a little sophisticated than a 4 year old because they're more responsibility.
Then theres how heaps kids your sitting, charge at least partly or $2 more than you would for 1 kid.
So it should be $5-$8 per kid.
Trust me, I teach sector time at the Red Cross for sitting.
