Why do children want to sit in the front seat?
Answer:
They're sitting up there with you, first of all. They are away from any picking or fussing that might occur in the back seat, when they aren't separated by a parent during a long car ride.
Plus, they can see the road ahead of them. Think about it. What can you see from the back seat? Signs flying by? Blurs of grass? Isn't it better to see what's up ahead of you? You have a panoramic view.
they probably like to see where they're going and how to get there
To them it's a sign of maturity, they get to be were the adults are and to kids that is cool.
dominance
Im 15 and I like sitting in the front seat so I wont get car sick. I haft to watch the road.
i thought it was cool to sit in the front & thought that sitting in the back was for little kids...& it makes you feel more important when your sitting next to the driver ;)
Me and my sister used to argue ALL the time about the front seat. However, I never really thought of why or what was so great about the front seat. I think she wanted to do it because it was easier to mess with the radio. I probably wanted to do it just to spite her.
That's a good question though.
I think the front seat is more fun than the backseat.
Because they can see better maybe. Also your 13 year old has to be in the backseat until he turns 15. The laws changed.
Because they feel more like adults and less like little kids. Its a status thing. To them thats where the bigshots sit.
Because they want to be involved and feel more grown up.
well for me
i get carsick sometimes in the backseat of a car
not a van
but a car cuz its so dam small
and only in the frontseat i dont get carsick
and i also wanna stay away from the fussing from my brother and wanna see how to get plces
Because it's THE front seat. There's only one and it's "special" They can't sit in the drivers seat, that's yours! They also don't have to look over the backs of the front seat to see out the front of the car. Seeing what's coming makes for a more comfortable ride. =)
-they can see what's happening in front of them
-they feel "special"
-they want to be in front with you and see what you see
-feel mature
I sit in the front because the car that my dad has (the car i ride/drive in) is a 2 seater so i cant sit in the back
did the law really change? i am 13 and always sit in the front since i turned 13. i'm 5'4 and 108 pounds and should have a growth spurt soon so ill be bigger
it makes us feel older.... it's just nicer sitting in the front seat. only one more move over an ur driving!!
