Too soon to test?
Answer:
I would wait until February 10th (and a missed period). It is definitely possible!
take a test and see
i would take a test now and then if its negative then take another one in a week. that what i did and now i have 2 month old son.
I'd wait until 14 days till after you had unprotected sex coz the egg should have implanted by then, if it was fertilised and so the yest should work.
Yeah, it's too soon. I'd wait until the middle of February especially since you said your periods are irregular. Plus stressing makes them irregular too. Good luck or not - however you feel!
Give it some more time. Wait a week or so and then get a test.
get one that has two in it, take one now and one in about ten days
try your hardest to wait until you miss a period, however, if you must--- try to use first response or one of the ones that can detect hcg really early. Good Luck!
go by what you last period was to predict your next period and when you miss it test the next day
Don't forget, a false negative is more common than a false positive.
False positives are very, very, very rare. False negatives are not as rare and are not considered rare but unlikely.
The most accurate test can read 5 days before your missed period...however...you said you have irregular periods so waiting until the 10th is not a bad idea.
Are your periods usually 5-6 weeks? Or 4-5 weeks? If they are usually 4-5 take one now and then one on the 10th, or take one on the 10th and one on the 15th. Taking one now will help to settle your nerves and help calm you.
If your periods are usually longer in between (5-6 weeks) then I would say no earlier than the 10th would give you good results, wait. But if the time between your periods is usually around 4 weeks go ahead and buy a two pack and take one now.
Remember, just because you partner does not ejaculate you could still get pregnant...but if he did ejaculate then there is a good chance.
However, depending on the time inbetween your periods take one now and maybe one on the 15th.
you should track your periods so that you can get a better estimate of when your ovulation dates are. www.mymonthlycycles.com offers a great period/ovulation calendar and it's free.
It is still too soon to test, but good luck!
Wait till at least saturday to test, and if you are trying to get pregnant and you have an irregular period you're probably going to need to have sex more often to get pregnant.
If you do not chart or monitor your fertility in any way, and you think you may have conceived, you should wait 19 days (or longer) after having sex to test. Why 19?! Sperm can live approximately 5 days in the proper environment; if the sperm managed to live until you popped an egg, the actual conception could have taken place several days after the sex act that got the sperm there. To make sure you're not testing too early, assume the sperm had very long lives (5 days is considered a very long sperm life) and that conception occurred then. Then allow 14 days for the embryo to implant and develop enough hCG to show up on a pregnancy test (96% of pregnant women will test positive by then.)
