Me and my husband wear all alon so can't get any help thats why when i read ur ques. then i thought u have all the rights to know every thing so that tumhara haal mujh jaisa na ho.
I never heard of girls gaining after a baby. You usually lose most of it right after and the rest follows if you keep active and eat right. If you are breast feeding though, make sure you eat properly.
most women lose weight, not gain, after delivery. when you add in the weight of the baby and everything associated with the pregnancy, many women lose close to 20 pounds.
Ive had 3 babys. Usually you lose the weight after delivery.
my daughter lost her weight.but is going to the gym to firm up.shes so lucky no stretch marks.
Oh yes, you can. Breastfeed and exercise and your weight will come right off!
What? I lost all of my weight and then a little more after delivery of my 3rd. I wasn't heavy before my oldest- 113 and 5'2" and wearing my size 5 jeans at my 6 wks checkup. I was shaped differently after my second child and wearing a size 8 at my 6 wk checkup that were too big at 6 months old.
The easiest way is to breastfeed. Also, work out tapes and getting up and going places. OF COURSE you can lose the weight if you want to! I have 4 kids and my youngest is 2 and I still have a few pounds to go, but it's coming off!
I have to admit I do know a lot of women who gained a LOT of weight after pregnancy, but that isn't a thing that has to happen. My MIL blames my dh for all of her weight gain.. says she was 99 lbs before she was pregnant with him. She's probably twice that now and I saw pictures of her when he was 13.. it wasn't him.
After my second baby, I was my pre-pregnancy weight within 2 weeks. Most women don't put on weight right after having a baby. The shape of their body may change after the first baby and they may put on weight after the baby is born if they 'let themselves go' (for lack of a better term).
After you have your baby, just keep eating healthy and you'll be back in shape in 6 weeks or less. Plus once a couple of weeks have passed, you can put the baby in the stroller and go for a walk to help.
I did. I was back into my "pre pregnancy" clothing about a month after having the baby. Of course, with the "structural" changes (wider hips, a bit of a belly), the clothing fit differently.
Breast feeding will help with that, but also watching what you eat. I found that I had little time to just sit and snack after my daughter was born, so I was eating far less. And because I was breast feeding, I was eating better, so I didn't gain the weight, but lost it. Breast feeding will cause you to be hungry more often, but just eat smaller "meals" when you do eat, and that will help.
I am also very athletic, and was playing on competitive doubles volleyball leagues 6 weeks after I gave birth. I think the exercise helped as well. I also did a lot of walking with my daughter in the stroller (she was born in August, so it was great weather for it).
Good luck!!
You will loose weight after delivery. Just continue to eat healthy foods, exercise (take baby for a long walk in the pram) and you should be back to your normal weight in no time!! Enjoy the rest of your pregnancy and don't worry about your after baby weight. You will take 9 months to put it all on, so expect to take around 9 months to loose it all. SLOWLY is better than crash dieting. Good luck with your baby!
I delievered last March and weigh less now than I did before I got pregnant. You'll find, if you took decent care of yourself, most if not all the baby weight comes off of you within 4-5 weeks. It did for me and I was 36.
i was about 120-125 pre pregnancy at 5'6''. gained about 15 lbs while pregnant, and lost it within about 3 weeks actually... now weigh 118. just worked out when i could, and ate smart. now people dont' even believe that i have 12 week old twins lol kind of funny. i am actually in better shape than i was before (help of a personal trainer..). love the way my body looks. so does my husband :)
well u should have been eating right and exercising during pregnancy to help with weight gain and help get your figure back faster. But not many women do that.
With that said the only "safe" way to lose weight is eating right and exercising. You could join Weight Watchers they teach u how to eat in moderation, portion control, and healthy substitutes while still allowing u to eat "real" food. Hope that helps.
I lost 18 lbs the 1st 3 days after I delivered my 8 lbs 1.3 ounce little girl.
you lose the weight of the baby, the placenta, and the fluid naturally soon after birth. More weight may com off with little effort in days and months following. I began walking three months after and it is taking time but my weight just continues to go down. Make sure you talk to your doctor before exercising, I would not want you to injure yourself! Some women go back to their original weight or lower quickly...I didn't!! Good Luck, and Congrats!!
The easiest way to reduce your weight is to breastfeed. After my delivery my 30 pounds is reduced.
