As far as where specifically, it's at your belly button down to the top of your pubic bone. That's where your dr will measure your uterus too, in that same line. After a certain point in time, the number of centimeters there will equal the number of weeks you are at (+/- 2cm)
Everyone shows differently and at different times, I personally started to show through my clothes at 22 weeks before then I just looked chubby.
I believe it depends on the woman. My best friend is 10 weeks and already showing and not fitting in her jeans. My mom didn't show with my brother until she was near 6 months. It just depends on your body type and the size of your baby.
everyone is different. im pregnant w/ my first child and i didnt start "showing" until 16 weeks, but even then i just looked really bloated. it was when i was 27 weeks that people finally started asking, "when are you due" and stuff like that. so, i guess i wasnt really "noticably" pregnant until then... b4 that i just looked really bloated. and i was really small b4 my pregnancy. now i feel huge, but everyone (thats not related to me) is saying that i still look small. so, lol, i guess its all a matter of opinion on how big you'll look and when. It will start around your neck, move from there to your left butt cheek, and then slowly migrate to just above your right eye.
After that it gets WEIRD!
Everyone shows at diffrent times but most all start to see a diffrence in the lower part of your belly just above your pubicbone it will look bigger first. Since this is your first pregnancy you wont show as soon as some who are on second and third and so on pregnancys because your body is not streached yet. I was very very tiny when I got pregnant with my first child I was only 86lbs (I am only 4'8) and was 23 years old so I started showing really good at 16weeks I belive I am 17 weeks pregnant with my second and have not fit my jeans since I was 8 weeks. The uturis will move up with the baby getting bigger. Congrats

everyone shows differnt. and everyone starts to show at different times. Generally youll start to have a noticeable bump right under your belly button a little befor 18 weeks and then start to round out from there but some people dont even get that until about 20-25weeks.
you should by the book "what to expect when youre expecting" its a very good book that will give you TONS of info on pregnancy and questions like this. you can buy it at stores like walmart or you can look it up online and buy it. Probably off ebay too.

i am 16 weeks and I just started showing out of no where like 2 weeks ago. I am skinny so you can tell I have a baby poof. It does start below your belly button. Its weird I look at myself and I am like who is this, lol.
you know im 13 weeks to infact going in my 14th week today, i cant work out what "showing" is? im confused too. i mean i cant work out if the little belly i have is from me putting weight on ( which i had before i got pregnant) so is it that the jelly belly just grew a little ? or wait does show mean when your stomach hardens? and pops through? i rekon we need to ask the question of when do we get to show and its hard right? because if u ask me im showing a little - but like i said could be just my little bullge? and all theese women could be confused of what showing really means? well if it makes u feel any better, i dont think im showing either and im about same time as u. It's just really different for everyone. I'm 13 weeks also and I'm wearing maternity clothes. My weight gain is starting up high, but you can tell all over really. This is also my first pregnancy.
