13 weeks and not eating at all - can it cause damage to my baby?
Answer:
Your baby should be fine. All nutrients go to your baby before they go to you. Your body will help your baby first... Don't worry! As long as you're taking the vitamins, all should be well!
Someone below said something about weight, but ignore that! Weight doesn't matter at all! If your other doesn't like it, he can go **** himself! He should only care he has a beautiful baby and partner!
Just make sure that what you are eating is completely healthy. Don't ever eat anything that's unhealthy since you're not taking vitamins and not eating much. Every little thing counts. Try to find foods that have multiple vitamins and minerals you need.
Not eating at all could not be good for the baby but as long as your drinking fluids and eating crackers or something..i went a month without an appetite but i forced myself to eat some crackers
YES YOU CAN MISCARRY THE BABY!
Try to eat even though! I know its hard, but you want the best for your baby. Good luck
Just keep it up after you have the kid. The husband/bf will be glad if you don't gain weight.
May not harm the child in the way you're thinking, but it certainly will put the child at a severe disatvantage in brain development.
Mentally, vitamins don't do very much. There are certain nutrients that a developing human brain needs. Once the child is born, there isn't a whole lot you can do to make up for it.
First hand I had two pregnancy's that consisted of vomiting up every meal that I ate for 10 months. My first daughter was 7lbs 7 oz. My second was 9lbs 4oz. They get what they need before you do so they grow fine my girls are proof of that. I was almost hospitalized twice with the 9lb 4oz one for being dehydrated and not being able to keep food down. Hope this eases your mind.
