If you mean 17 weeks, you're probably of late starting to feel a flutter or little teeny tiny see. First time moms usually feel movement between 18-22 weeks, but you could greatly well be emotion it at 17.
I don't think the tot will boot u while u think of food, but he may touch if you are excited. Who knows.

your baby have been kicking for a while in a minute. the question is when can you perceive it?
you usually start to feel the kick about 18-22 weeks. some women quality it as early as 16wks, but is pink - could be gas. anyway, your close to feeling the kick, but you will know for sure in a few more weeks.
oh and 17 months pregnant....you should be contained by the guinness world record and on TV. lol
