I am 39 weeks and 4 days pregnant. It is my 1st pregnancy. As of 4 days ago, I was 1 cm dilated. I have lost bits of my plug all week. Today I had a huge amount of thick white discharge. Mild lower abdomen cramping all week.
What's your best guess?

Can't be long now, specially as the plug is coming away. Ah, good luck, it will be fine! Do remember if waters break they should be pinky coloured - IF you lose a significant amount of real blood then contact your ER as soon as you can...this happened to my daughter and she gave birth within twenty mins!

SOON, I hope. You're probaly feeling the same way I am at this point. Excited beyond belief for it to happen but annoyed with the waiting part of it all. First, time your "cramps." If they are less than five minutes apart and lasting around a minute long, then go to the doctor.
It's most likely NOT CRAMPS. Go to your doctor ASAP. I had "cramps" but PSYCH they were contractions! GO GO GO.
