Does lying on your left side or right side affect the baby's development.?

Answer:
I would not say that it affects the baby's development, but they say laying on your left side is best for your blood pressure and best for pumping nutrients to the baby. I'm sure that either side is fine, really, but if you are more than 4 months, you should not lay flat on your back because the weight of the baby can constrict your leg veins. Good luck!
no
no it doesnt
Lying on your left side helps the baby to get increased bloodflow and oxygenation it also is used to aide in women who have elveated blood pressure during pregnancy.
they only say to lay on your left side because of the blood flow..but my Dr. told me lying on either side was just fine but if i started to feel light headed to lay on my left side and it would help that feeling go away.
no mate you have to lye how you are comfortable which will be the most comfortable for bubs
lay on your left to increase blood flow to the baby but i doubt it will afect their development too much
My OB told me as I got bigger that my baby would be more comfortable and as would I if we layed on the left side
laying on your side just helps the baby to get enough oxygen mostly doc perfers you to lay on your left side..its laying on your back that is not good...
no, it just helps keep the uterus from pushing up into your lungs and from putting pressure on the umbilical cord, it is in your best interest usually to sleep on your left side, it also keeps your blood pressure down
I haven't heard that it affects your childs development, but it is better to sleep on your left side because it increases blood flow to the baby.
Lying on your left side is better for the baby.
"on the left side-with one leg crossed over the other and with a pillow between them, is best for both you and your fetus. It not only allows maximum blood flow of blood and nutrients to the placenta but also enhances efficient kidney function, which means better elimination of waste products and fluids and less swelling of ankles, feet, and hands."

it will change the hand he masturbates with. If you lye on one side he'll have to switch hands and this will affect his development. If you hate my answer I don't care

I pleade the 1st amendment
The baby is surrounded by amniotic fluid, so neither side should affect the baby's development. But just in case, my wife made it a point of always changing her sleeping position. And our babies turned out pretty evenly done. :-)
no it doesnt.
Just lay down however you feel comfortable..i dont know if it has any connection..but i found lying down on my left the only comfortable way to be able to fall asleep ..and when my baby was born...he would turn him self around to the left and fall asleep..if heard things like that from other people to..that the way they layed down when they were pregnant..thats the way their baby slept.. doesnt last long..but like i said..i dont know if that has any connection or it just happens.
