When I started having what you are having. It was around 1 and a half weeks afterwards. I noticed that they started getting more frequent and more powerful. Then my water broke and I went into labor.
One of my for sure signs was durning the week after I got my 1st contraction thing. I started my nesting phase. Usually when a woman goes through the nesting phase the baby is coming soon. The nesting phase is basicly cleaning, washing, and making your house completely oraginzed and spotless. You will all the sudden have a huge amount of energy, and the ugre to clean things that you can't ignore..
I know I tried. lol. I am not a very neat, and clean person But when that nesting phase hit me. I was up until 5in the morning cleaning and finding things to organize. I even found myself color coding my sons baby clothes ..=\
Practice labor? Like braxton hicks contracions or false labor? Anyways, it could be anywhere from today to 2 weeks after your due date, who knows?
personally it was about a week but everyone is different the baby will come when ready good luck.
I had false (which I am guessing is the same as practice) labor with my third child 24 hours before 'real' labor started.
it was the very next day for me. but I am sure that it different for everyone.
well i have no idea and from what i hear it is all pretty unpredictable. I am in the same boat as i have been having "practice labor" since 35 weeks and i am now 37 weeks,all my dr says is that it could be anytime or i could make right to my due date. Sorry hun there is no way to tell besides the fact that you are getting close, but arent we all sick of hearing that!
I have 2 daughters and I had braxton hicks 2 weeks before labour on both of them. It is different for each woman so you can't really go by them - all we know is that the baby will come out as and when they are ready - good luck and all the best with the birth
I was in practice labour or braxton hicks for a month before I gave birth and my daughter ended up being a month early.
I had braxton hicks contractions for like 2 months. It was really annoying. All that "practice" did me NO good, because I was still in labor for 38 stinking hours. Lol. All worth it of course. Hang in there! It will be different for everyone. Could be 5 minutes from now, or 5 weeks from now. Congrats in advance!
it differs between all women i had braxton hicks contractions and i had false labor twice b4 i went into acual labor
p.s. if u want to speed up real labor have sex it worked for me
Hi, With my 4th pregnancy I had Braxton Hicks contractions ( practice labour pains ) from about week 20 - she was born the day after my due date! There's no timescale for it I'm afraid. Braxton Hicks are just your body's way of exercising and warming up those muscles before the real thing - it can happen right the way through your pregnancy. All the best of luck with your new baby.
i had these sort of pains a week before going into proper labour, good luck not long to go now
I never experienced braxton hicks which is the same thing at all and i was 10 days over due but labour was v.short and not too painful at all after all the horror stories i was told
braxton hicks can start anytime and last till u go in labour it can last ages
