When, during your cycle, are you ovulating?

If you had sex and the condom broke, but got your period the next day, what are the chances of getting pregnant?

Answer:
The "rule" is you ovulate two weeks before your period starts.

However the fact of the matter is ovulation and menstruation are controlled seperately and anything is possible. You can menstruate without ovulating and ovulate without menstruating. You can ovulate at any point during your cycle.

There are ways to check when you are ovulating though and learn what *your* body does. You can use basal body temperature, cervical mucouse, saliva tests, and urine tests.

Now, however, the chances of gettin pregnany the day before your period are small. Because generally the sperm wouldn't have much luck swimming through menstral blood. Also generally the egg wouldn't be able to implant. But these things can happen. You can test two weeks after unprotected sex.

Also consider using two forms of birth control.

Take care.
You normally ovulate 14 days after the 1day of your period. Your out the "woods" I believe. You have nothing to worry about. :)
Hey how old r u u shouldn't even be having sex u nasty!
Yes
Not out of the woods just yet I've known women who have gotten pregnant while on their period. I believe ovulation occurs before your period. You have to ovulate before you can have your period. because your period is the unfertilized egg leaving the body.
You have no chance at all. Try having sex two or three days after your period goes off.
Slim to none. Your hormone levels have already dropped once your begin bleeding. Also, the egg is already passing. You lucked out!
