I'm Very newly pregnant, the ultrasound didn't show anything?
Answer:
nope! don't be afraid at all! most of the time you can't see anything at all untill 4-6 weeks along. EVEN with a vaginal ultrasound. i'm not sure about you HCG levels...no one has ever told me mine! aching and fatiuge goes with the territory. you haven't had any negative symptoms so just sir back and enjoy your pregnant months ahead!
well they saw my baby and could see the heartbeat on the screen at 6 weeks.
Even if there is no baby it wont do you any good to worry about it....i know it sucks but you ll just have to wait it out :(
all they would be able to see that early in pregnancy is just a little dot.
Ur are fine and u are pregnant . thats all they will see. it looks like a little grain of rice CONGRATS
That would only make you about 5 weeks along. It is very hard to see anything then. I had an u/s at 5-1/2 weeks and you could barely see the sac and a little blip that was the heartbeat. Relax...get another one in a couple of weeks. You are showing HCG in your blood so that means that you are pregnant.
I would give it a few more weeks. The doctor should have been more concerned if there was an issue. At maximum 4 weeks you won't see much on an ultrasound there are still tiny.
That sounds like EXACTLY what happened to us. I was newly pregneant, the blood tests were showing I was pregneant but the ultrasound didnt show anything BUT I went back in a few weeks and there she was.
I had an ultrasound at 4 weeks and they could not see anything I was horrified and thought something was wrong but at six weeks we saw a fetal pole. Try not to worry im sure they will see the baby when they do a follow up ultrasound. Best wishes.
DON'T WORRY! You are only a few weeks along and you wont be able to see anything until sometime in March. You and your baby are perfectly fine!
I had an ultrasound at four-five weeks and they didn't find anything and said I was having a fake pregnancy. Paid almost $300 for it. Then I went to a smaller clinic a few days later, paid $50 for a sonogram and they found a small black dot with a little white half-moon looking thing and said, "There's your baby, you're about four weeks." I'd love to go back to the first place and show them my now seven-year-old "fake" pregnancy!
don't worry honey-- i had the same thing happen to me-- you are prob just very very very newly pregnant-- I'm surprised you even found out this early-- i was early (everyone was equally shocked) and you couldn't see anything in my ultrasound either. everything will be fine-- just take care of yourself and eat right and get lots of good sleep-- did they say how far along you may be? also, they should have been able to tell by your hcg levels. good luck! and congrats!
they saw my baby at 6 weeks and i heard the heart beat too.
they havent taken my blood yet or anything but i do go back on the 15th. i honestly dont know anything about HCG levels.
but if your no longer than a few weeks i wouldnt think they could see anything. when i went in for the first time they wanted to confirm my test so i took a urine test and the lines were waay faint and i was approx. 4 weeks. so give it a few weeks and then go back. if you arent expierencing pain or bleeding i wouldnt worry. your probably right its too early. but if you really wanted to get a real opinion you could get a second one. CONGRATS!
It's very hard to see anything in an ultrasound prior to 6 weeks. Everything is still so small. I'm sure everythign will be fine.
I know how scared you are. My first pregnancy was an eptopic. and I almost died, so when I got pregnant with this pregnancy I was terrified. To loose the baby, my life, ect.
anyhow the thing about eptopic is that its not textbook. ( i was monitored by the best doc, on eptopic, a professor at a major university who wrote many papers on the subject.) so I will tell you what he told me.
your hormone level must be at a 1400 to show the baby on the ultrasound. since you are at 958, it sounds to me you will be okay, (my tube ruptured at 480) It sometimes takes time for your hormone levels to climb. as it did me. I was checked daily by this doctor only because he was using me to teach his students at his clinic.
I honestly think you have nothing to worry about. I had no syptoms of an eptopic with my first pregnancy. hell, I had tons of doctors telling me nothing was wrong. until, it was too late. but as I said, there is nothing textbook about eptopic pregnancies. once you see your little one on the screen in the right place, your heart will melt and the fear of that is put aside. good luck. I hope my experiance has helped.
