I quit when i found out i was preg but..?
Answer:
As Tissa already said, tell your Dr. It's best for your baby if your Dr. has this information. Good for you that you quit when you found out. Best Wishes to you and your baby.
honestly it could, but if you are honset with you dr and tell him/her this then they can look for any signs of trouble...just odnt do it again
Yes, all drugs can affect your unborn, growing baby...uggggg
Yes. Drugs stay in your system for a while.
Please Please Please
tell you doctor what you were using, and how often.
That is the only way you can be properly treated.
As long as you aren't continuing to use them, your baby should be fine. They have a natural defense to some degree up until 6 weeks. I took some very harmful muscle relaxers and migraine medications before I found out I was pregnant, and the doctor told me it probably didn't do any harm.
Yes it could. How far along were when you quit taking drugs? And how much did you do? Of course your baby could be affected.
But its good that you quit. Now, all you can do is be healthy from this point forward. Eat healthy and take your prenatal vitamins and chances are that everything will be fine.
But please avoid all drugs and alcohol from this point forward.
Yes
it depends on how soon before and the important thing is that you don't do it again
The rpoblem is that when you take street drugs it could affect your baby. However if you atop taking them as soon as you find out you are pregnant, it might not have the effect. However if you find out that you are pregnant when you are on your 3 or 4 month, it might be a problem. To be honest, I used pot for a while. I found out that I was pregnant on my 2 month. I stopped immideately, I still smoked ciggaretes for about a week or two. My daughter is now 9 months old and is very healthy. The link below might help you undersdtand a little more.
The second link is the link to my own website about pregnancy, If you are ionterested, I have my own presonal story there.
Good Luck and Feel healthy.
Yes, but the fact that you stopped significantly lowers the chance of it affecting the baby. I know many people who smoked heavily or drank heavily at the beginning of their pregnancies, didn't smoke/drink anymore after finding out they were pregnant, and had perfectly healthy, smart children.
However, that is "just" cigarettes and alcohol. If you were, say, dropping acid, you may want to talk to your doctor just so you know what you may be in for.
They may possibly hurt the baby, but it really all depends on what drug and how much was used. When you go to the doctor they ask you about these things. Just be honest. Good luck and God bless.
