Does the mothers blood group Rh negative will contribute to birth defects like nueral tube defect?

if the father's blood group is A1 positive, is there any heredity problems between these blood group. i heard heredity patterns of Rh negative is not so good, and what to do to prevent these defects, any doctors pls advice

Answer:
An Rh-negative mother's body can make antibodies against Rh-positive blood cells, including ones of her unborn baby.
These antibodies are able to cross the placenta and attack the fetus' red blood cells which can cause low blood count (anemia), congestive heart failure, and even fetal death.
This is called hemolytic disease.

But don't fret! It is preventable with a medicine called Rh immunoglobulin (RhIg, or Rhogamâ„¢.)
And it'll only really effect your child if there's a chance that it may be Rh-positive (more likely to be the case if the father is Rh-positive; if the father is Rh-negative too then you can only have Rh-negative children and there is nothing to worry about).

Best thing is to speak to your doctor/midwife about it, they'll be able to give a detailed correct answer.
that link on the bottom should help you! there was too much reading for my brain to handle!! =)
