I had my babe-in-arms 5 months ago and my period be constant for the first two months, then regulated a touch but was still catching me bad guard. This month, I've been cramping and getting acne close to I used to before my spell (before I got pregnant), and I be spotting brownish last dark which I thought was the formation of my period, but in a minute I'm still cramping and no bleeding. I cannot carry a babe right now because of the method my surgery went (not a average c-section) so I'm hoping this isn't a sign of pregnancy (yes, I did take precautions...my husband and I be not being irresponsible). Is this ordinary after a c-section/childbirth? Should I be worried about pregnancy? Any information would sustain. Thanks.
Answers: You were not have a period after your birth, that be lochia shedding. It happens even if you enjoy a c-section and is typical for 6 weeks.
I BF'd for 7 1/2 months, but my periods didn't return till 15 months. So, that can clearly inhibit regular periods.
If your doc is worried in the region of you getting prego, have you considered getting an IUD?
Yeah. Periods are usually irregular after childbirth. It take a couple of them for your body to get itself backbone to normal. Also, if you're breastfeeding, it make it irregular for a minute as well
