How long do you bleed?

I just found out Monday that i was pregnant. it was the most shocking news. after 17 years of marriage, and after we adopted 4 kids. but the shock turned in to sadness the very next day. my doctor told me she thinks im miss carrying. now today wednesday she dont know. see i have been bleeding for 23 days straight. not heavy but only when i wipe. i had an ultrasound yesterday and it didnt find anything weird. they also said that i could be to early in the pregnancy to see the fetus. i had my second blood blood count today will find out tomorrow if it has elevated. my question is has anyone bled that long and had a normal pregnancy?

Answer:
I have heard of women bleeding throughout their entire pregnancy, almost as heavy as a period.

Unfortunately, every time I have been pregnant (3 times) I have had spotting. All three of my pregnancies ended in miscarriage, the last one being yesterday.

I will keep you in my prayers that you are one of the unique women.
I know of a woman who did bleed during her pregnancy, like a prolonged period, and her son was perfectly healthy. I think it was further along in her pregnancy though, so I can't say for sure what's going on with you. I hope whatever happens though, life will be good to you. Best of wishes.
