Anybody know how far along in your pregnancy you can get an abortion?
Answer:
most places wouldn't let you get one after 12-14 weeks unless it is medically necessary, but there are some clinics that will do it later in pregnancy but that is partial birth abortion and it is much harder to get one of those unless you have some sort of medically issue, but i would suggest you go to planned parenthood to talk about your options.they will not pressure you to do anything that you dont want.all they will do is educate you on your choices and then let you make that one that YOU feel is right. good luck
maybe you should delete this now.why do you want to cause such a stir on here...? this is something you should use a search engine for or ask a doctor.
6mos if ur money is right, it costs more the bigger the baby is
Some places do it into the 2nd trimester, you should call around...I am not going to condemn you for asking..but do know that you have other options hun... good luck with whatever you choose.
You "can" up through the second trimester...but you'll regret it.
This is very very sad but I think its around 4 months. You should know that by this point the fetus has already developed and they actually break bones to get it out. No matter what you think, abortions cause life long issues with depression. It is one of the worst possible things you can do to yourself and the life you are carrying. I am not trying to preach about whether or not its right or wrong, I'm just telling you that it isn't pretty and you will always remember and most of the time, regret your decision.
my friend had hers at 6 1/2 months but the longer u wait the more u will pay
You have until you hit 12 weeks to have an abortion. Anything after that can be very harmful to your body and could possible make it to where you can't have any other children
I was always told 12 weeks
I hope you don't do this.. there are other options. This baby deserves a chance at life. Regardless of what they tell you, Their brains start forming at 3 weeks, they have heartbeats at 6 weeks, fingerprints at 12 weeks, by the 13th week all organs are formed, and just need to mature before birth Please do the research first! Babies do feel it!
you can take the abortion pill up to 8wks, also
You should really look into that and see what all this involves. If you are already into the 2nd trimester they actually break the babies bones to remove it. If your that far along and you are just realizing it or just going to make the decision you really should consider your options. There are millions of families out there that would love to have a baby and can't and there are millions of programs that will help you if you want to consider adoption. Think long and hard about that this could be something that could hurt you for the rest of your life and could completely ruin the chance to have children in the future.
depends on where you live...research ALL legal and medical dealings with abortion in at the national, state, local (county/town/district) levels...ask your health insurance company and doctors you've visited, and local hospitals
This is a medical question - not a religious one - so I don't understand why people can't just give you a medical answer. If you wanted to start a religious debate I assume you would have asked your question in "RELIGION" Anyway. First trimester abortions are LEGAL in the US and other countries and people fought long and hard for them to be legal. When they aren't people have them anyway and they frequently die. Second trimester abortions are also legal if your health is in danger, if the fetus has genetic abnormalities, etc. To the person who said you'd regret it... there are lots of things you might regret if you didn't have an abortion and went ahead with an unplanned pregnancy or delivered a baby that couldn't live past a few days or weeks.
according to my doctor you can have an abortion up to 12 weeks into your pregnancy, after that there are ways but it becomes disgusting and morally wrong!
The planned parenthoods here say 9 weeks but I wouldn't know..I would never have one.
It depends on the state in which a woman lives. If you or someone you know is considering abortion, you really need to see this information before you do something you regret:
