Serious Question!! Please Help??
Answer:
first of all Bre your not 18 but thats none of anyones buisness(stop lieing though), second I have told you a thousand times that this is possible its happened to me. You dont need to convince any doctor of anything, what you need to do is demand an ultrasound or throw one of those great tantrums you have and i'm sure they will listen.Stop relieing on the net to help you when family is right in front of your face waiting for you.
Yes, it's rare but possible to get a false negative. Simply call an OB and make an appointment for a blood test - this will answer the question once and for all. If you're not pregnant, then you and the OB need to figure out why you're not getting your period.
If your OB "refuses" to see you again, then call another OB. That is ridiculous to refuse a patient a blood test, and he/she is not the person you want caring for you and potentially your baby.
It is possible that there isn't a sufficient level HCG in your blood for the test to detect. Some women are just like that. Ask you dr to do a blood test. This can detect even the slightest amount of HCG in your system.
go see another OB/GYN... tell them what all is going on you need to know what is going on if your not pregnant...my best friend was 20 weeks before she found out
go back to the doctor and expalin every to him once more if he/she dont try to jelp u should find a new docyor r u can go to the emergancy department in a hospital and tell the, wassup most likely they will do an ultrasound
Its very rare, why dont you ask them to do a blood test and if its still negative then demand a sonogram.
THEY WILL MOST LIKELY DO A BLOODTEST FIRST.
the clinic would be a better idea...let the little fella take on for the team
I have four kids. Sounds to me like you might want to get a second exam from your doctor or maybe a second opinion from another doctor. If you're not pregnant than something else could be causing your symptoms. Good Luck.
i wouldnt think you could get a false negitive ... especially so late. when your pregnant, your HCG levels increase as the weeks go on. someitmes when you worry so much about being pregnant, you can trick your body and it'll act like it is pregnant. and they cant "not see you anymore" i suggest going back to the dr now since you havent had your pd since november. even if tests come back negitive, there could still be something wrong, causing you not to get your pd. Good luck, and God bless!
You can ALWAYS get a second opinion.
You don't have to go to the same Dr over and over again.
If you haven't had a cycle since November then there's defiantly something going on here. You need to be sure for your sake.
Check with another Dr and tell them what has been going on the past months.
At this stage I don't however think you would be showing. Most don't start to show until 4 to 5 months along. Every ones different. Also I don't know if you would be feeling the embryo moving yet. You could very well be feeling it, but it would only feel like butterflies. Nothing more then that.
I wish you the best, but the only thing I can tell you is to go see another Dr, and don't leave until you know what's going on.
good luck
You're pregnant
Usually blood tests are pretty accurate. You coudl have somethign called "false pregnancy" or a psychosomatic pregnancy. At 13 weeks, the baby would be so small you woudln't be able to feel it yet (especially if this woudl be your first pregnancy).
