Question for mom's who know around prenatal genetic problems..?
After the tests, they told me the likelihood of her having it are very soon at about 1/250 and that an amniocentisis could narrate more conclusively if she does indeed have a tubal malfunction (if it were open)
The amniocentisis have a 1/250 chance of cause a miscarriage.
So, if I go ahead lacking the test, the risk for her have the defect is here, but if I have the audition, the risk of miscarrying is the same probability.
What should I do? Has anyone been face with something similar?
Answers: When I be pregnant with my youngest daughter I have a 1/45 chance of have a baby near Down Syndrome; after the ultrasound They told me it didn't 'look' like she have it; I went through the amnio b/c I considered necessary to be ready for something close to this. I did not have complications from the amnio and truthfully it wasn't prickly either; it be just rather uncomfortable. If it is going to prepare you and it is going to bother you not to know them I would suggest getting the amnio.
I'd own it done honestly because i like to be prepared for stuff and hold a plan on what i'm going to do. I know its hard to reflect on that you might miscarry her but sometimes people really don't. I know that near is a huge chance nought is wrong and that if you had it it unbelievably well could variety something wrong. I think you should converse to your significant other but just me i would own it done.
