When should I have my baby shower?

Answer:
Some women have them before the baby, some after. I had mine about a month before my due date. I was due june 13th, and it was around the 13th in May I had my baby shower. my son came almost 2 weeks early, he was born June 2nd so... I would say at least a month before your due date as you never know!
about 4-6 weeks before your due date.
It's tradition to have a baby shower about 2 weeks before the baby is due. This makes it easier for you because you will probably know the sex of the baby and what items you will need.
Normally, most women have their baby showers anywhere from 4-8 weeks prior to their due date. I had mine 6 weeks before my due date. I have heard of women having them even after the baby is born, though.
you dont want to have it to close to your due date.. wouldnt want to go into labor while at your at your shower..

about a month prior is good.
i say 4-6 weeks before the baby is born, that way it's not too early but you still have time to prepare.
About a month before your due date.
Congrats!!

usually women have it approx 8-10 weeks before they are due
around 7.5 months
You should plan your shower about 11/2 - 1 month before your due date.
As far as what day of the week...
My best friend, who planned my shower said that Sunday at 1:00 was the best day and time. At first I thought it was a dumb idea, most parties are on Saturday. She said usually on Saturday, people have plans for the weekend. When Sunday rolls around, people don't have much going on, they are all ready up and going after church, and are looking for something to do. Boy, was she right! I had so many guests show up, we didn't know if we had enough room in the house! My friend said it happens every time she plans any shower/party on that day/time. Good Luck!
im 33 weeks and just had my shower. i didnt throw it though, my mother in law did and now my mom is throwing me a "work" shower on the 18th.

Good luck and God bless!
Never before that scary three month start is done with. Depends then if you find out what bub will be or else you get a lot of yellow and white stuff! Tradition aside I think you should have it when you are over the morning sickness and before you get too full of baby to be able to eat all the yummy stuff at the party. I reckon 5 months.
about 6 weeks before you are due-good luck!
I think you should definitely wait until your out the dangerous stage, so maybe anywhere between 5 to 8 weeks before your due date just in case your baby decides to come a little early
My baby was due in April and I had mine in January. It all depends on you really. I am in Australia so Jan is in Summer! I was lucky to have a nice day and air conditioning, but lucky it did not get too hot to need it on! It was a great day!!
All the best to you!!
Two months prior is a good time. You aren't extremely big and not too tired so you can still have a good time.
6-7 months. This way, everyone knows what you're having, if you're finding out. You are very pregnant, but you may not be miserable, like you maybe towards the end and by the way, you should not be having your own shower. Thats not good etiqutte, someone, a close friend or relative should be throwing it in your honor.
Usually, you have a baby shower 4 weeks before your due date...just in case the baby comes early.
Anytime really, but usually they are 1-2 months before the baby's due date.
you should do it as soon as you find out what you are having
while your pg
