Perhaps a dumb question..?
I've been taking OTC-Lo since September. My last period was Jan. 7-13. I'm aware that it's probably to early to be getting any symptoms. My symptoms are probably the cause of something else. But here altely I've been really nauseated, feeling sick to my stomach. Been getting dizzy a lot. Tired. Over emotional. These past couple of weeks have not been good.
It's pribably my birth control messing with me...
Just to be sure if I was pregnant would the birth control harm the baby?
I start my next placebo week next week and if I miss my period I'll get a test but until then...
Sorry I know this sounds dumb
Answer:
Yes your symptoms will be the same! The symptoms could be from your pills.. or stress if you are dealing with alot of stress.
Remember the more you think you may be pregnant... the more you will think and feel pregnant.. Its a mind thing that we just can not control!!
The pills should not hurt the baby! Many women get pregnant while taking the pill and they do not know until they miss a period, so it is a very common thing!
I would discontinue pills as soon as you have a positive test! until then I would continue taking them!!
Good Luck!
No, it's not a dumb question, very important and interesting question, in fact!
Now you give me thumbs up and will ellect me as the best answer.
No it isn't dumb. The women I knew who were on the pill and got pregnant, all had pregnacies that were normal. When I got pregnant a lot of girls I worked with did too, and a few were on the pill. The boss blamed our drinking water. LOL
I was taking the same pill and I got pregnant. Don't worry, my doctor says the pill will not harm your baby. I took my pill for two until I was 5 weeks pregnant when I found out. My baby is fine. Your symptoms will be the same as if you were not on the pill. And twice when I took a pregnancy test just to put my mind at ease, I found out I was pregnant. Good luck.
When I was on birth control pill my body always felt it was pregnant.
I would wake up nausiated and was emotional. My doc prescribed me a low dose pill it helps.
I am on Ortho Tri Cyclin and let me tell you I am an emotional mess now since taking these. It has actually taken my appetite away. If I were you I would discontinue use of the pill and refrain from sex and see if your period starts. They say that if you miss your pill for so many days your period will just come on by itself. Wait it out if it doesn't start express your concerns to your doctor they may order a blood test to be done. Good luck
NO
the pill is not good for a baby , hormone overload and can cause some birth defects.
