Pregnant but no symptoms?

I have just had a positive pregnancy test. I was completely flabbergasted. Although I am 5 days late, I have had absolutely no symptoms at all. When I was pregnant with my daughter, by the time I was due my period I already had sore breasts, chronic tiredness, nausea (I couldn't drink tea, coffee, any spicy foods, chocolate or diary products without feeling as though I was going to projectile vomit), bad temperedness etc. The reason I left it so long this time to take a hpt was because I felt absolutely fine. I just assumed that I was late because I have a chest infection and feel a little run down. Has anyone else had such completely different pregnancies? I'm thrilled to be pregnant but really worried because I feel so different this time round to my first pregnancy.

Answer:
my first pregnancy was like yours. i felt all the symptoms and the worst was morning sickness. now i am 32 weeks pregnant with my second and i had no symptoms in the beginning. i did feel a little sick around the middle of the 2nd month but other than that its been great. i think every pregnancy truly is different. good luck and congratulations!!

Mine were each differernt but I was tierd with all of them. Dont worry yourself, your body is better trained now. Mornign sickness is more common in 1st pregnancies
Old wives tale that being pregnant with a girl is tougher than being pregnant with a boy. I will say that when I was pregnant with my daughter, I was sick all the time but with my son only symptoms I had was being late and my boobs were sore.
Every pregnancy is different though. This is my first and i didnt really have any symptoms. I wouldnt be worried about it.
that happened to me too.
i took 3 tests to really convince myself that it is positive.
All three of my pregancies were different, I won't bore you with details, in every way you can think of. one I would faint, another I was very healthy and strong felt well always, another i would get indigestion easily. the births were different also, the last two were natural, the second more painful, the last the easiest and fastest.
My last pregnancy was like that. I went to the Dr. with an infection and was shocked when I found out I was pregnant!! Never had any symptoms! It was wonderful, so don't worry. All three of my pregnancy's were different!
every body is different and every pregnancy is different. Could it be that you feel run down NOT because of a chest cold, but because you are tired from being pregnant? YOu won't have exactly the same symptoms each time you are pregnant.
you say this long its only 5 days since you missed, all pregnacies are different, i knew i was pregnant at 4 weeks with my daughter, my son i was 3 months before i got symptons, just hope its trouble free foe the next 8 months
Quite normal.I have had a girl and boy and both have been very diifferent.Be glad you havent got head over tiolet bowl!
Yes all my pregnancies were different, but one thing that was consisant, my boys I knew after 2 weeks and with my girl I had no idea.

Good luck and congrats
Well I dont know about the different symptoms as I have only one son and we are tying for the last 4 years for another one. So every time I hear about someone getting pregnant I feel so happy for them. All I want to say is CONGRATULATIONS!
I've had 4 kids and every pregnancy was completely different, i had no symptoms with my 4th pregnancy till my 3rd month in.
I felt great the first pregnancy. I didn't feel bad at all the entire time. With this pregnancy I felt really bad. My breast were sore before I tested positive and I thought it was PMS. I was really nauseated for 14 weeks and so tired all I could do was come home and sleep after work. I have read that some women have different experiences with each pregnancy. Good luck and congratulations.
I am 36 weeks with my first so I dont have another to compare to. But I never had any symptoms and I still dont. It's crazy but it has been the most simple thing I have ever done.
Pregnancy symptoms vary not only from woman to woman but from pregnancy to pregnancy in the same woman. You may not have the same symptoms you had last time, or you may not feel them until later on. I can't tell you from personal experience because this is my first, but I'm reading What to Expect When You're Expecting, and it mentions a few times that it is perfectly fine not to have the same pregnancy symptoms as everyone else, or even as yourself in a previous pregnancy. It doesn't mean there's anything wrong with the baby. Good luck!
I had two totally different pregnancies.

First one: I gained about 10 lbs by the end of the 1st trimester, was having to get maternity clothes by the 5 month mark, felt tired all the time.

Second: Gained only 3 lbs my 1st trimester, was wearing normal clothes (went one size up at some point) up until almost 7 months (then exploded, haha), didn't even feel like I was pregnant until the last few months..was never tired or anything.

The only thing that stayed the same was that I only got sick and actually threw up one time with each pregnancy.

I think its completely normal to have two totally different experiences.
hehe give it time...
every pregnancy can be different so I wouldnt worry to much however if your concerned go and see your doctor for advice. good luck
