About 7 weeks of pregnancy. The doctor has a device like a mini ultrasound that he will run over your stomach to hear the baby's heatbeat.
My book says around 6-8 wks th heart starts to beat, In the 4th month it able to be detacted, In the 5th month i was able to fell 3 of my 5 kids heart beat.
in 4th month if baby is active other wise it can be in 5th month

fetal heartbeat is detected as early as 7wks by doppler study inTVS or 8wks in normal USG. After 12wks they can be heard wth stethoscope..
after six weeks.
