Hi, I'm 37 weeks pregnant and would like to know of any exercises that I can do to help make my labor easier?

Answer:
Ohhhh I remember being so close!! It's so exciting! Before you know it you'll be in the labour ward with your newborn and lots of flowers balloons and cards! Anyway.. Lol. Squatting is a great excercise. Also your pelvic floor excercises can help with the pushing and help you heal quicker afterwards. Good luck, and congratulations!!
Go on walks.. Eat properly.. and take very good care of your body. Just stay active... and joyful. Grats too.
I did a lot of walking and climbing stairs.
i hear squatting (like if you were to be working in a garden) helps. but i did it a lot, and i had a long labor that ended in a cesarian.

try babyfit.com. i swear by sparkpeople.com for weight loss and exercise articles and tips, and babyfit is the pregnant womens sister site.
its really awesome and there are message boards where you can talk to the other pregnant moms. there might even have a few articles on it!
Breathing exercises.
They have classes.
Check your local paper, or maybe online, map quest, ect.
Kegel exercises. if you dont know what they are here a link.

walking is about all you can do at this point. (without hurting yourself or the baby)
u can go to abook store and get tapes on precnacy exciersie and you can get different stages and sometimes they show excersisces 1 month before labor
Here is a link that might help! Kegel Exercises are great.

Just go for lots of nice brisk walks and enjoy this time to yourself.

I was walking up to one week before I had my baby and did it all natural without any drugs in 8 hours so I am happy with that and am sure that the walking helped.

All the best
Kegels.
