Certainly one can be but that isn't typically found out until their grown and going to a fertility clinic to find out WHY they aren't able to conceive. What reason would a kid have to go to the doctor to find out if he's sterile or not? It doesn't happen Sweetie.
Yes, an STD can cause sterility. A guy who doesn't want to use a condom will use that excuse too.
