If your up to 4-6 weeks, has anyone had this experience?, but everything still was fine with the baby?

if your 4-6 weeks pregnant, but you have depression, and yes you take alot of medicine and pills like alot, and i know the baby is super small, but can that still affect the baby.

and if anyone has ever had this, did the baby come out fine, once you stopped doing that and ate right, and took care of yourself.

do you think the baby can still be ok if this person does not do it anymore, starting today, she wants to be healthy..what do you think, did anyone have this experience.

Answer:
You obviously want to look after your baby, and it's very important to eat well and not take any non-prescribed drugs. but if you are on anti depressants or other prescribed medication then please talk to your doctor as soon as you possibly can, but don't just stop taking your meds without consulting him/her as that can cause problems too.
The odds are that no damage has been done, and speaking to a doctor will reassure you. you obviously care a lot about your baby, and I know you'll make a great mum. Take care and good luck!!
Some anti-depressants are ok to take while pregnant, but with being this early if you stop now, I am pretty sure the baby will be fine. There are lots of us moms out there who drank and smoked before we found out we were 8-10 wks pregnant and we were all plagued with guilt and out babies turned out just fine. I had went out and had a few drinks the night before I found out I was prego with my son and he is a happy healthy 5 month old baby
You need to tell your doctor what you are taking and see what he says, he may be able to adjust your medication accordingly. You don't want to stop taking anything cold turkey because your baby is probably already become addicted to whatever you are on.
if your on antidepressants or any kind of pills, you need to let your dr know immediately. You can transfer that medication to your blood stream which gets to the placenta to your baby. It doesn't matter how far along you are, there is not chance in risking it because no matter what, your baby may be healthy in the end because of pure luck, or may have some serious medical problems. please talk to your dr, and maybe they can get you some help. and the best thing to do is to eat right, stop taking the medications, and think about the little life that is growing inside! good luck!
