Why did I start showing more today, at 5months? Is it normal to just pop out in a few hours?
Answer:
Someone just mentioned there tipped uterus and they are right if a uterus is tipped it will go right back to normal and it looks like your not pregnant one day and boom you look big the next day.
Unless you were told your uterus is tipped this is not what happened with you. Babies can lay in your inner pelvic and change positions, grow larger and they come above your pelvic and show more. Your hips will start to spread more rapidly again and you may notice your belly looking different again by next month. It will do so till you give birth.
I loved taking pictures each month of my belly it changes shape over and over with my active son.

yes I think that this does happen. One day I was showing just a little, and then the next day baby was just like way out there. And everyone was like wow baby is way out there today.
WELL AT 5 MONTHS ONE SHOULD BE ABLE TO TELL THAT YOU ARE PREGNANT AS FAR AS IT GOES WITH IN HOURS I DONT KNOW ABOUT THAT BUT DEPENDING ON HOW SMALL YOU WAS BEFORE YOU GOT PREGNANT AT 5 MONTHS AND EVEN 4 MONTHS SOME 3 MONTHS YOU CAN SEE A BELLY BY 5 MONTHS A BIGGER BELLY

Sometimes at different times in the day and depending on what you ate you can look more pregnant. My baby goes lower towards the end of the day, so my belly looks very different. However, the baby does start growing a lot more in your 5th month. Enjoy! :)
I did, at about 20 weeks. I have a tipped uterus (it tilts backwards toward my spine). My ob had warned me that one day I would "pop" and he was right! I started the week in my regular clothes, and then actually had to go to Target on my lunch break to buy some maternity clothes! It was crazy! And I have been big ever since!
What happens is when the baby finally gets a substantial size, he/she will tip the uterus into a normal, upright position. After pregnancy it goes back to it's normal state. BTW there is nothing wrong with having a tipped uterus, it does not cause any problems.
