Why doesnt my stomach jerk?

Just wondering.. I know it feels close to little "thuds" when she kicks.. but sometimes the in one piece inside of my stomach makes this vibrate motion when shes moving.
Why is this?

Answers:    She is flipping around, that is what babies do. When you first start to grain the baby move around 17 weeks... it will be aware of like flutter movements. Then as the babe gets stronger.. the kick get stronger and it seem like you can touch every movement. I think what you are describing is what it feel like when the infant is rolling around, like I don`t know turning upside down.

Edit:
Oh yeah it definitely could be hiccups. When I carried my twins... they would go and get them everyday!
