Usually when you have a thicker discharge it is a sign of ovulation to allow the egg to flow easier but, since you said that the discharge is white, thick and has an odor it sounds like it is a sign of an infection usually a yeast infection. If it is an over production of yeast it would be followed by itching as well. I do know that every time I got pregnant I would get a yeast infection for some reason so, you should go to the Dr. to get checked to see if you have an infection and also, a test for pregnancy.

Not necessarily...If it as thick and has an odor get checked by a dr asap. or take a preg. test the dollar store has them
