Will my baby stop moving as frequently as I get closer to having her?

I am due at the beginning of March, and I've noticed that my baby has stopped moving as much as she used to. In the mornings, she used to roll around and do all sort of things. It was the same at night. All this activity stopped Monday. She barely moves now. I was wondering if that meant I'm close to having her. If I remember right, my son did the same about a week before he was born. I was just curious. Serious answers only please or else you'll be reported.

Answer:
I'm 36 weeks along right now and my daughter too, has slowed down. She used to do such strong big kicks and make my stomach bounce all over, but in the last week, she has slowed down alot. I still feel her move around but just not as much and not as strong. I asked my ob and she said it was perfectly normal. Try not to worry about your baby. She sounds very healthy.

ps. I reported boxcar too! asshole!
Yes - as you're in your last month, the baby no longer has room to roll around and do flips like before. Also, once the baby is "in position," you will feel more wiggles and kicks, but no more total body movements.
only if its dead
I was told that they run out of room to do their acrobatics that they could do earlier on. Mention the decreased movement at your next Dr appointment. As long as you are feeling it move every houf its fine.
i heard that babies slow down in movement b4 you give birth..but i dont know exactly when thats suppose to happen...my doctor told me if i feel a decrease in movement to call her right way...im sure your fine..but i think going to the doctor will get you a better answer then any of us can give you! good luck and congratz on your baby!
It's not that the baby is less active - there is less space so you don't feel it as strong as before.
I'm due next week and I find my baby is still as active. If anything, he's stronger and makes my stomach move in waves. As your baby gets bigger they have less room to move. Depending on how it is laying in your uterus, you may notice more or less movement. So long as you feel 10 movements per day, the baby should be fine.
yes they say that around two weeks before a baby is due he or she will rest and stop moving as much so thats totally normal but i remember when my daughter stop moving about two weeks before she was due i really panicked i thought something was wrong with her...i think she was resting up geting ready for her tiring arrival!
She could be engaged and not able to move like before. As long as you still feel her move you should be OK. My kids (well all except the one born at 36 weeks) did that about a week before birth. Weird huh? You should have your little one soon. Congrats!!
yes, cause they don't have very much room to move around anymore.
that is very normal, your child is running out of room, you are getting very close congrats
