What are some causes for Hospital bedrest? just wondering...?
Answer:
This is very serious. Remember, the most important thing is you having a healthy pregnancy. Do not rush for anybody. Are you working? You should NOT be right now. Talk to your doctor asap and let them know everything you are going through. Make it very clear to them you can't take this and put you on bed rest. Tell them your symptoms and condition.Right now, it is your health and baby's health and don't let ANYONE tell you other than. You have three people to take care of and honestly, your pregnancy is at stake from all this stress. I also stopped work around 34wks and saved my pregnancy due to high blood pressure and anemia. Always, remember that if you make it a very big deal and let the doctor see how anxious and worried you are, they're going to have to do something about it and your employer has no choice than to put you on leave.
I know how you feel, and I'm only 23 weeks. I've got everything from the shortness of breath to the fast heartbeat.
My doctor told me to go walking in the afternoons. He thinks that it's exercise intolerance. I started doing it, and it's not great, but I AM noticing an improvement. Walking won't hurt you, and besides, it will make your labor and delivery easier.
Talk to your doctor if it concerns you. I STILL talk to mine about every little thing.
Have you had your blood pressure checked? I was hospitalized at 25 weeks because of high blood pressure (preeclampsia). I was sent home after 3 days and put on bedrest. When I was 32 weeks along I went in for a pain in my abdomen. I was vomitting and lightheaded. They ran some tests and found out I had HELLP Syndrome. I was airlifted to the cities and had my son 8 weeks early by emergency c-section. HELLP Syndrome and preeclampsia are not treatable unless you deliver your child.
The things you are experiencing don't sound like HELLP Syndrome but maybe you should make sure your blood pressure is okay.
