Semen is a natural prostiglandin. The man made version is called cervidil, which is what he hospitals use to ripen your cervix. Orgasms and nipple stimulation produce oxytocin in your body. The man made version is called Pitocin which is what the hospitals use to induce contractions.
Prostiglandins + Oxytocin = labor :)
But only if your body is willing and ready. Even hospitals have trouble inducing a woman should their body not be ready. Hence the reason C sections are on the rise.
Sex stimulates the muscles in the uterus and also stimulates hormones that will help induce labor.
Because having an organsm makes your uterus contract...which MAY send you into labor.
The orgasim well help contract the muscles to help jump start the process of contractions.
Ask your doctor to scape your membrain when you get really close to having the baby or have sex when you are really close.

There is a chemical in sperm that softens the cervix and orgasms cause your uterus to contract.
I personally know that after carrying a baby for 8-9 long months, sex will be the farthest thing from your mind. At about 7-8 months you are so tired of being pregnant and so miserable with swollen ankles and feet!
Isn't working for me. There is something in the semen that can stimulate contractions...but well, doesn't work for everyone and in my opinion can turn out to be true coincidence when a women goes into labor right after sex around the time they are due.
