Can you do weight watchers if you are pregnant?

I am concerned about getting pregnant again because I didn't lose the pregnacy weight from the first baby and I don't want to get bigger then what I already am...please help

Answer:
Thats a better question for your doctor. I highly doubt they would allow you to diet while pregnant but you can ask
my friends mom is a nurse and she did it and lost massive weight but i dont know how i would work with you being pregnant becauss you have to take the hormones and craving into consideration not only that your body uses the vitamins for the baby so if you do weight watchers it could restrict how much goes to the baby
Yes, they offer a breastfeeding and pregnancy modified program!
YOu probably shouldn't. Speak to your doctor first because WW only allows a certain amount of "points", and your baby and you may need more nutrition that the WW program calls for.
You shouldn't worry about dieting while pregnant. I had the same concerns with this pregnancy, and I just tried my hardest to watch what I ate and gain the least amount of weight necessary for a healthy pregnancy. If you are overweight you should try to stay between 15-25 lbs.

Then again you could use weight watchers (A modified version) to keep within that weight gain range. Just don't go for weight loss. Also, if you plan on nursing you can use that to your advantage in helping you lose weight quickly. Talk to your doctor about it and see what they have to say. Gaining 15 lbs wouldn't be too bad and you'd probably lose it all immediately after birth/within the first few days.
IF you're pregnant (congratulations!), and you're concerned about unwanted weight afterward, why not consult a bona fide dietitian and inform the dietitian that you're pregnant in order not endanger the unborn in any way? There IS a reason why nature causes you to gain weight... and it may very well be a hidden blessing that you are not aware of. How about minimal prescribed exercise while you're pregnant? That will help you physically AND emotionally as well as mentally, I promise.

Have a healthy & happy baby! Good luck and very best wishes!
You cant do weight watchers while you are pregnant it is unhealthy to diet while pregnant. The best thing you can do now is exercises and eat healthy.
I know what u mean :) Im 5 wks along but Im still the same weight :( I want to get bigger though, I CANT WAIT!!!!!!!!!!...
O f course you can. Weight watchers is all the same foods you eat now just in moderation. Weight watchers do not have pre packaged food or anything. When a Doctors says you need to make sure your eating for two , that mean 1 more egg in the morning thats it!( Thats is what my doctor has told me) I sure hopes this helps you.
First of all, WW is NOT dieting, it is a life-style change.

Yes, It's safe to as long as you do a modified version. Pregnant women only need an extra 300-500 calories a day, that's it!! That is the equivelant to an eclair or donut. Because you're allowed to eat the foods YOU want and crave, your body and the baby get what it needs, just in moderation. So, eat your normal daily points allowance, if doing flex use some flex points, and just eat something that has an extra 300 cals in it, it's really simple!
