18 weeks pregnant and I keep having a painful sensation on my right side..?

is the baby big enough to be sitting on a nerve or something that would cause a dull achy feeling? I am feeling movement, usually at night between 7 and 9, and thats usually when the pain comes on as well.

Answer:
Yup! It's the baby resting where it hurts most.It really does suck but my started around 16 weeks and I've had it ever since.Only thing I would try is taking a nice bath or getting into a pool or something like that because they seem to float too. Also a exercise ball might help just to sit on.Good Luck and Hang in there!:)
It is just a pulled muscle because your uterus is stretching. It happened to me.
its just the stretching of your uterous your your baby putting pressure on that side
I know exactly what you are talking about. It is called round ligament pain. The round ligament is sort of like a rubber band that is attached to your ever growing uterus. When it is stretched a little too tightly, like when the baby is moving or directly afterward it causes some pain. As your uterus grows bigger you will feel it more and more. It is totally harmless, and should come and go. If it comes and stays and becomes severe or persistent you should call your Dr. but otherwise totally normal. Good Luck and Congratulations:)
if its debilitating, it could be a kidney infection i had one at 28 weeks, and i couldnt walk until i got pain releif and antiobiotics, i couldnt beelive how bad it hurt... sorry good luck
