Who says not to stretch when you are pregnant, thats absurd. I am pregnant with my second and I do everything I would normally do accept drink alcohol!!
where did you hear that? stretching is the best thing to help you get ready for labor. i don't know what dr you listen to, but stretching helps ease cramps, and other discomforts.
I have never heard that one. I have been pregnant 4 times now and dont think stretching has ever hurt anything.
because they say it will give you stretch marks but it's totally a wife's tale ... you get stretch marks because they are genetic
its an old wives tale they say if you stretch while pregnant that it will wrap the cord around the babys neck.but it doesn't i stretched alot when pregnant and nothing happened and my baby is healthy
thats only half true. u can streatch and its important to stay in shape. but u cant over due anything. ask ur doctor some safe moves to do because some streatches u feel u can do can harm the baby. but u need to stay active.
Heh.. I think you might have misheard this. It's not that they advise you not to stretch, its that stretching (your back muscles) gets alot harder to acomplish. I know the first thing I always do when I get up after having a baby is stretch, cause I can stretch the whole way lol
