17 Weeks PG & Haven't Felt Baby Move in a Week?
Thanks!
Answer:
I'm sure you are fine. You are probably having flutters in your sleep and the baby is sleeping during the day! Thats what my 3rd did! You could try eating something and having a glass of water and laying on your left side for 30 minutes to an hour and see if that doesn't stir the baby. CONGRATS & GOOD LUCK!
I've had that with both my pregnancies. My DD I felt movement at 15 weeks and found she was quite active for 2 weeks and then didnt feel anything for 3 weeks.
Now My child I felt at 14 weeks and same thing there was a3 week span where I didn't feel anything.
So far I'm 25 weeks pregnant and KID is kicking up a storm,
I'm sure everything is fine. If you were farther along I'd say get it checked out now, but the baby is still small and since it's your first pregnancy, you may just not be noticing it.The baby could be awake and moving at night while you're sleeping.
At this time in your pregnancy sometimes the movements can decrease and you will only feel them on and off. That is exactly how it went when I was about 18-25 weeks pregnant. If you are really worried or even just want some peace of mind I would try and get in to see the Dr. It will make you feel so much better when you hear the HB again and then you will be a lot less stressed.
I think this early on, it's probably because the baby's too small and in a strange position.
Later in pregnancy, it's a huge problem. Good luck on Tuesday.
I wouldn't freak.Your baby is still very small.I didn't even feel my baby really kick until I was 22 wks. From then on they just get stronger and stronger. If you feel that worried you should go ahead and call the doctor but I'm sure it's nothing. You just asking this question just proves your going to be a great mommy!Congrats and good luck!!
It depends really. Me personally i got used to the flutters right away so i didn't notice them as much afterwords. but once he kicks.. your definatly gonna know it. Congrats girly.
* word to the wise.. Get a Epidural when in labor. I wasn't able to get one.. and yeah...it sucked to say the very least.lol
Usually the first movement of the fetus or "quickening" occurs on 20th week of pregnancy and it usually happens at night. You might feel someone is kicking inside of you. DOnt be bothered if u dont feel it right now, 3 weeks to go., but after this 20th week or so and u still dont feel any fetal movements go to ur OB immediately
ok it could be the weather and you may be to busy to notice the little movement and you might be a sleep
but if you feel that this is very important talk to your DR about it and they will let you hear a heartbeat to help you feel better
Well yes it is ok nutting is wrong with your baby he or she is just in a good position.
My baby was just like that she would not move
for weeks at a time and i would thank that something is wrong but it normal. but i know
how it is because i just had
my first baby so don't worry about it.
GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR BABY!
It's hard to tell that early, especially your first pregnancy. Try drinking a glass of orange juice at bedtime and lying down very still and quiet in bed on your back for about 20 minutes and see if you can feel the baby then. If you're really concerned, call your MD and go in for a check earlier, but most likely everything will be fine when the doctor checks you on Tuesday.
it is still early on u will feel more prominent kicks soon enough be patient
i think u should not worry it is only after 20 weeks mostly u feel the baby move when it is ur first time u are not able to tell a movement,if the baby movement is not felt regularly after 20 weeks then it is a sign of problem, although some women can feel it very early but it is rare,so don't worry everything is just fine,u can go and get ur self checked if u fear anything as anxiety during pregnancy can also be bad so just get it checked and clear ur doubt, good luck
yes..this will happen...
the best advice is to get The book :What to expect when your expecting" $5 at walmart
and also if u have access to the internet then go to babycenter.com that is also a great sight. it helped me alot though my 2nd pg.
Sometimes the baby will be moving and you won't even know it or relize that was the baby
