supposedly the heartrate makes a difference. I actually believe the shape of your stomach, I am pregnant with a girl and am carrying higher and straight out. With my son it was low and more to the back. supposedly you tend to get more morning sickness with a girl. That did not hapen for me.

Well, Everyone said I was going to have a boy b/c i carried higher up, and it is a boy, i just found out today:).and also i hear another old-wives tale about that if your baby kicks alot that its a girl, and if you get sick and vomit alot, its a boy...but i dont know if they are true?!:)

There is now way to know other than visually seeing it on the ultrasound screen. I had a boy my first time and didnt have any systems, no sickness, nor cravings etc. this time I havent had my ultrasound yet and am 14.5 weeks preg, i have had morning sickness, beyond tired and achy legs and barely showing at all.
Every pregnancy is diff sorry hun, but you cant be for sure with old wives tales!

Old wives tales are amusing but generally hold no truth on their own. Everyone things i'm having a boy because I'm carrying low, but it's a girl. There are some interesting things you can look at. There is an online chinese lunar calendar that predicts sex, which was correct for me. And there is a quiz on various old wives tales, which gives a percentage based on answers, this was also correct.
yeah see my tummy?? most people say its the telltale sign of a boy, in my case there right, they say if your high and wide its a girl, but if your low and narrow its a boy
