I havent heard my baby kick!?
I usually feel my baby kick throughout the day, but for some reason I havent felt her at all today, and I'm scared! Is this normal?
Answer:
Yes very normal, your baby is probably just resting.
maybe she was just really tired today
Try tapping on your abdomen to make sure baby is awake. He/she may just be in a sleep cycle.
If you're really concerned, don't be afraid to call your OB.
yes it is normal and closer to the end you won't feel her as much either so just relax everything is ok and congrats
Relax. I'd say give it a day or two. If the baby hasn't kicked by then, then start worrying.
Go to the doctor. It's probably nothing but you don't f around when you're pregnant.
Eat something sugary and lay on your side...That should help. If you haven't felt her in like 2 hours call your dr. because something might be wrong...
she could just be having one of those days, though...it happens
Go see a doctor - the risks are too high to take chances. You know what is normal for your pregnancy and what is not. In a case like this it is better to be a bit embarrassed in the emergency room than to take a chance that there really is something wrong.
Try drinking a cold drink or eat some food that has sugar. Also sometimes if your busy yourself you don't notice all of the baby movements.
yes it properly tie rd for all that growing, but keep a check and if still no joy consult your doctor!
It can be really scary when they take a break, my first did it all the time and it freaked me out every time. Try drinking a big glass of Kool-aid or something else with a little sugar in it, then drink a big glass of water. Liedown on your left side and press your hand firmly into your belly, count any kicks you feel for an hour. If you don't feel one, its probably that the baby is sleeping but do yourself a favor and call the nurse or after-hours number, it will put your mind at ease.
drink some orange juice, 6 oz. or some sugar sweetened beverage. then lie quietly on the bed or couch, and count the number of movements in one hour. if nothing- call md right away. if you are ok with the movement but still concerned, call your md in the morning. good luck!
Yes but see a doctor
according to my mom, from the information you have given, that is completly normal. she says that she would start to get worried after about 2 or three days but says that it is best to contact your docter and get their oppinion on it.
my mom works at a pediatritions office for 12 years and has been pregnent twice.
she still sugests that the safest thing to do is to get you doctors oppinon because they know you/your situation better than anyone else and you would be better off contacting him or her, but she is happy to give her advise.
eat some spicy hot chilli and you will
and stop smoking the reefer
Depends, try drinking a Sprite, wait 20 minutes and see if you get any activity. If in doubt definitely CALL YOUR DR., that's what their there for, and it will put your mind at ease.
My daughter would do that sometimes, I lightly massaged my belly and usually got results, but during my ultrasound she wouldn't move for nothing, so my dr. gave me sprite to drink, she said that it would wake her up.
I hope everythings ok, Good Luck!
She I am sure is fine.. she is in a relaxed mood today:) have some OJ and maybe a sweet and relax. my baby is more active if i am relaxed:)
I am 23 weeks on monday
congrats!!
no its not drink a cold pepsi or orange juice and lay on your left side and if nothing within 30 minutes call the labor and delivery. I lost my baby at 22 weeks for the same thing and i waited all weekend and she was dead. she had the cord wrapped around her neck and its the most painful experience to lose someone before you get to meet them. i pray its different with you.
Try eating a sugary food and that should boost the blood sugar and make her move a bit...
If not jiggle your tummy a little.
If still nothing then call your Doc.
I had the same thing the other day, I am almost 23 weeks. Finally at night she started kicking. If you do not feel her by tomorrow morning, call the doc just to be on the safe side.
Your baby is probably just resting. Both of my children moved a lot if I laid flat on my back. You should try that.
Yes very normal
I would go the the Emergency room. That is not normal to have her not move. You better go get checked out my dear!
Lay down on your left side and she/he should start moving. Drinking ice cold water makes my baby move. Or you could start probing around your stomach, this usually agitates my baby and she will usually kick at me
