I had 'periods' the whole time I was pregnant. Obviously they were occasional bleeds. Some were lighter than my regular periods, averaging three days each, and I had less period pain, but it meant I found out I was pregnant at 22 weeks along. They came irregularly, I'd have one, six weeks later another, two weeks later another etc (I'd previously miscarried so put my irregularity down to that) I didn't start showing until I was 30 weeks plus. No reason was ever found for the bleeds I had, which continued to term, and I had a healthy baby girl in November.
If you are pregnant and bleeding please see your doctor as soon as you can. If you are worried that you are pregnant despite having periods, it would be very unlikely that you are. However the only way you can be sure is to do a test, or again, see your doctor.

impossible to have a period while you are pregnant. you can bleed, but it's not the same thing as a period.
If you have a period while pregnant then you are in danger. Go to the doctor now! I had bleeding in the first trimester and it was too late. I noticed the first day I had bleeding.
I WAS NEVER PREGNANT...BUT RECENT MY FRIEND HAD A PERIOD (WELL SHE THOUGHT) IT WASN'T HER PERIOD SHE HAD BEEN PERGNANT AND NOW WAS HAVING A MISCARRAGE. SHE SAID SHE FELT ALOT OF PAIN IN HER STOMACH.
my friend had her period for 3 months before she found out she was pregnant it was normal but she just felt in her heart that she was pregnant and she keep taking test and they keep coming up negative then after the 3 months she took another test and it show up she was pregnant and her period stop shortly after
I had normal periods right up until i was 7 months pregnant. Everything with my body remained normal until i missed a period and things felt different but i certainly didn't expect to be 7 months gone!! I had no kicking no swollen limbs no bump and no sickness so i was actually quite lucky really
i had a couple in the first few months and it was quite scary especially with my first, they were lighter in colour and tended to be shorter just 2 days really but don't forget if your concerned talk to your GP or midwife take care
I had a period during two of my pregnancies. This is not the norm,. but it does happen and can be harmless, however; only a doctor can tell you if it is harmless bleeding or if there is a problem. Have you had a positive pregnancy test? If not you are probably not pregnant. If you are pregnant for sure you need to go to the doctor right away to make sure everything is OK.
both times I was pregnant I had my normal period and then I would start again a couple weeks after that and also have a normal period and then none after that. the first time I was pretty young (19) so it took till the next month when I didn't start. and the second time, everyone kept telling me I was pregnant so I took a test to prove them wrong. ha ha
Bleeding is BAD!! I started bleeding Fri. about 3 am and have been put on bed rest for a week. So far my baby is fine but everyone still is really scared about it. The people on top of me are right... You don't have your period it's just blood that can make you think it's a period but it's not. Both as far as other symptoms I don't know this didn't happen till I was 6 1/2 weeks.
I am pregnant with my 3rd and according to last period i am 6 weeks, but period was shorter and lighter so not sure if it was implantation or not, i have to go for a dating scan next week.
I feel more pregnant than 6 weeks, and as i have had 2 others i know what to expect, so i think i am further on and it was just an implantation bleed.

Well I was pregnant for a whole 5 months and didnt know it because I had my period and didnt gain any weight towards the end. My period was normal it came the same time it always did but I did notice my flow was lighter then usaual but other than that norm. On the 6th month my period didnt show up and I went to the doctor after being 2 weeks late did a test postive then an altrasound found out I was 20 weeks pregnant
